David de Gea's girlfriend hints at Real Madrid switch

David de Gea's girlfriend has reportedly all but confirmed that the goalkeeper will eventually move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

The Manchester United player has been heavily linked with a move to the club and is now expected to join next summer when his United contract runs out.

One of the main factors in De Gea's potential move is reported to be his girlfriend, Edurne Garcia.

She is quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo: "Now, when he is in Madrid everything will be much easier."

De Gea joined United in 2011 from Real's city neighbours Atletico Madrid.
