Manchester United defender Alex Buttner 'nears Dynamo Moscow switch'

Manchester United defender Alex Buttner is allegedly on the brink of joining Russian outfit Dynamo Moscow.

The left-back decided to leave Old Trafford as he believes that new manager Louis van Gaal does not rate him, according to the Daily Mail.

"Louis van Gaal never gave me the chance in the Dutch national team, despite being voted man of the match 14 times at Manchester United," the newspaper quotes him as saying.

"Apparently he is not very confident about me. So I think this is the right moment to leave."

Van Gaal is believed to be keen to hold on to Patrice Evra in the left-back position, and has been strongly linked with a summer bid for Southampton star Luke Shaw.
