Dimitar Berbatov flew out with his Manchester United teammates on the club's pre-season tour of South Africa and China earlier today.
The Bulgarian striker revealed yesterday that he was keen to leave the Red Devils in order to find regular starting action elsewhere.
As a result, some reports had claimed that the 31-year-old would stay behind in order to secure a transfer to pastures new.
However, Berbatov was part of the 22-man party that left Manchester Airport, fuelling speculation that he could remain at Old Trafford for another season.
