Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly preparing to join the race to sign one of Manchester United's attackers during the summer transfer window.
The Premier League giants are currently celebrating one of their most notable European victories in recent memory, a stunning 5-4 comeback victory over Lyon after extra time in their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday night.
Not only will that success bring in extra revenue in the short term, it leaves Ruben Amorim's side one of four teams still in the hunt for the trophy and Champions League qualification for 2025-26.
Nevertheless, widespread reports have already indicated that a number of sales will be facilitated once the market reopens in June, a consequence of poor form and the need to bolster the club's position with the relevant financial regulations.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that United had taken a particular stance over who to sell out of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.

More clubs chasing Garnacho?
As per TEAMtalk, Alejandro Garnacho appears to be the offensive player that is generating the most interest with Bayer Leverkusen now joining the race.
The report claims that the Bundesliga outfit have already made contact with the representatives of the Argentina international to gauge whether negotiating a deal is a possibility.
Napoli emerged as admirers during the winter transfer window before ultimately opting against pushing through the transfer, but it would not be a surprise if they returned to the hunt with Champions League football a possibility for next season.
Furthermore, Atletico Madrid are also said to be open to providing Garnacho with a reunion with the club that he departed in 2020 after five years in the academy setup.
There have been suggestions that United may look to generate up to £70m for Garnacho, something that appears unrealistic at the present time.

Are Leverkusen active contenders?
Up until the start of March, Garnacho had lost his way to a certain degree, but two goals and three assists have come across the most recent one-and-a-half months.
Garnacho also played 100 minutes of Thursday's epic triumph against Lyon, a suggestion that Amorim is starting to trust the playmaker more.
Whether Leverkusen can be viewed as active contenders remains to be seen as they have never shelled out the kind of money that matches Garnacho's price-tag.
Head coach Xabi Alonso is also highly likely to be linked with the Real Madrid job should Carlo Ancelotti depart his role in due course.
The sale of Florian Wirtz for an astronomical fee may be required for Garnacho to come onto Leverkusen's radar, albeit the players not being like-for-like in terms of their capabilities.
