Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong is questioned over reports linking him with a move to Manchester United in the current transfer window.

Barcelona midfielder has addressed reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.

The 25-year-old, who is under contract with Barcelona until 2026, has been the centre of intense transfer speculation, with the Red Devils strongly tipped to sign the Netherlands international.

De Jong previously expressed his desire to remain at Camp Nou, but a recent report indicated that Man United head coach Erik ten Hag has convinced the Dutchman to make the summer switch.

The Barcelona player was questioned on his future following his country's 2-2 draw against Poland, with a reporter asking De Jong if he was swapping the beaches of Catalonia for the cold of Manchester.

The former Ajax man replied: "No... I think... I can't say anything."

Since joining Barcelona in 2019, De Jong has appeared on 138 occasions for the club, chipping in with 12 goals.
