Barcelona reportedly intend to reject any offers for midfielder Ivan Rakitic during the January transfer window.

Barcelona reportedly plan to keep midfielder Ivan Rakitic at Camp Nou for the rest of the season.

After barely featuring during the opening three months of the campaign, Rakitic has been linked with a move away from the Catalan giants ahead of the January transfer window.

Manchester United and Juventus have been credited with an interest in the 31-year-old, who has just over 18 months remaining on his contract.

However, according to reports in Spain, Barcelona are happy to keep Rakitic at the club until the summer.

Since returning to the starting lineup, Rakitic has helped Barcelona record victories over Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Mallorca respectively.

Despite an increase in game time, it is unclear whether the La Liga leaders intend to offer the former Sevilla man a new deal in the coming months.
