Gareth Bale agent plays down chances of Real Madrid exit

The agent of Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale states that the Wales international has no intention of returning to the Premier League in the summer.

Agent Jonathan Barnett has said that Gareth Bale has no intention of leaving Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.

Bale has endured a disappointing campaign at the Bernabeu, and the return of Zinedine Zidane has resulted in the Wales international continuing to be linked with a move away from the club.

However, Barnett has played down those suggestions, insisting that the 29-year-old remains happy with life in Spain.

Barnett is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "He is very happy here. He is a Real Madrid player and right now he is not thinking about a return to England. I can't predict the future, but for now he is happy."

Manchester United have been credited with an interest in Bale, who still has over three years left on his deal.
