Ancelotti: 'Hernandez decision at end of season'

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that a decision will be made over Javier Hernandez's future at the end of the season.

The Mexican striker, who has scored three goals in his last two outings, is nearing the end of his season-long loan stint at the Bernabeu from Manchester United.

There had been suggestions that despite his recent form in front of goal, Madrid had no plans to sign the 26-year-old on a permanent basis.

However, Ancelotti has insisted that no verdict has been reached and will not be until the campaign has concluded.

"It's something we'll look at at the end of the season. I've liked how professional he's been all year and how he's taken advantage of the chances he's had. For a coach, that type of player is great to have," he told reporters.

Speculation has suggested that Hernandez will cost potential suitors £7.5m.
