Everton have boosted their hopes of achieving Europa League football next season with a 4-0 victory over Manchester United in Sunday's Premier League fixture at Goodison Park.

Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson gave the Toffees a two-goal lead at the break, before Lucas Digne and Theo Walcott completed the rout in the second half.

United barely offered a threat going forward until they were four goals adrift, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now witnessed his team suffer three defeats in their last five league outings.

19 minOut of absolutely nothing, United almost equalise. A long ball over the top of the defence from Pogba finds Rashford, but the England international sends a volley marginally over the far top corner from 15 yards out.
