Man United all-time leading appearance-makers: Can you name the top 10?

Sports Mole challenges you to name Manchester United's top 10 all-time leading appearance-makers, including a host of legends from their two golden eras.

While they may have fallen on rougher times over the past decade and more, Manchester United remain one of the greatest institutions of English and world football.

As one of the biggest, richest and most successful clubs on the planet, the Red Devils have seen a string of all-time great players come through their doors and lead the team to unprecedented success - most notably during trophy-laden spells under Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson.

Man United have won more English top-flight titles than any other club in history with 20, while only bitter rivals Liverpool are above them in the list of total honours.

It takes a special player to hold down a regular spot in their team for a prolonged period of time, then, and a select few - 11, to be exact - have turned out on more than 500 occasions for the club.

One man, who celebrates his birthday today, stands head and shoulders above the rest with a staggering 963 appearances across all competitions, and to celebrate the occasion we are challenging you to name Manchester United's top 10 appearance-makers of all time.
