Thursday's Premier League predictions including Aston Villa vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Premier League matches including Aston Villa vs. Manchester United and Bournemouth vs. Tottenham.

Everton vs. Southampton (Thursday, 6.00pm)

Southampton will be looking to build on their shock win over Manchester City when they visit Goodison Park to take on Everton on Thursday evening.

Just one point separates the two sides in the table with five games remaining, and both will have their sights set on a top-half finish over the closing stages of the campaign.

We say: Everton 1-1 Southampton

Southampton have not won a league game at Goodison since 1997, and we can see that run extending here. Both teams will be pleased with their form since lockdown and, just as they are so close in the table, we are struggling to separate them in this match.

Bournemouth vs. Spurs (Thursday, 6.00pm)

Relegation-threatened Bournemouth welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Vitality Stadium on Thursday night knowing that time is running out for them to turn their dreadful form around.

Eddie Howe's side remain only one point from safety, but have lost each of their last five league games heading into this contest against a Spurs side chasing European qualification next season.

We say: Bournemouth 0-1 Tottenham

Spurs have won seven and lost just one of their previous nine Premier League meetings with Bournemouth, but they were beaten on their last visit here and have been in dreadful form away from home for a long time now.

That said, Bournemouth are in even worse form in general and it is difficult to see where the next point will come from for the Cherries, yet alone the next win. We are backing Tottenham to edge this one by a single goal.

Aston Villa vs. Man Utd (Thursday, 8.15pm)

Manchester United will be looking to further their charge for a top-four finish when they lock horns with relegation-threatened Aston Villa at Villa Park on Thursday.

Villa, meanwhile, are one point adrift of safety before Watford take on Norwich City on Tuesday evening, and Dean Smith's men are still searching for their first win since January.

We say: Aston Villa 1-3 Manchester United

United's attacking stars have been in prolific form since the English top flight returned to action, and the Red Devils are now facing a Villa side with the worst defensive record in the league. Smith's side should feel capable of making it a difficult evening for the United backline, but we are expecting Solskjaer's men to continue their excellent run of form with a routine victory at Villa Park.
