Ashley Young: 'Manchester United move was right decision'

Ashley Young believes that he made the right decision in joining Manchester United during the summer.

The England international was a reported target for United's rivals Manchester City, but Young has insisted that he only ever wanted to sign for the Red Devils.

When asked about City's interest, Young told The Mirror: "That's true, but as soon as I heard about Manchester United there was no other club for me.

"It's Manchester United. They are the biggest club in the world, and I think if you ask anyone who they want to play for the majority will say 'Man United.'"

The 26-year-old has scored three goals for United since his move from Aston Villa.
