Former Manchester United midfielder Ray Wilkins has claimed that the signing of Radamel Falcao could cause problems for manager Louis van Gaal.
The Colombian striker moved to Old Trafford from Monaco on transfer deadline day on a season-long loan deal.
With Van Gaal now boasting a wealth of attacking options, Wilkins believes that some of United's players will not be happy to spend time on the sidelines.
"Sometimes you can have too many players," he told talkSPORT. "The signing of Falcao may cause a few problems for Van Gaal.
"Everyone wants to play and, if they're not in the side, then it could be a little bit disruptive. It's going to be very difficult to give everyone game time, especially now they're out of Capital One Cup."
United have the option to make Falcao's loan move permanent at the end of the season.
