Manchester United are reportedly ready to offer Danny Welbeck a new five-year deal.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to offer striker Danny Welbeck a new five-year deal worth £45,000 a week.

The England forward will meet with United officials in the next month to seal the extension, according to The Sun.

Welbeck, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland, has edged his way into the United starting lineup since returning to Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old is currently on a deal worth £15,000 a week before bonuses, and he has 18 months left on his contract.
