Nemanja Vidic: West Ham United "similar" to Stoke City

Nemanja Vidic feels that Manchester United will face the same challenges from West Ham United that Stoke City gave them on Sunday.

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has admitted that he is expecting a "similar" challenge from West Ham United to the one that Stoke City provided his side yesterday afternoon.

The Red Devils make the trip to East London needing just seven more points to secure the Premier League title.

Having recently come up against Stoke, Serbian centre-back Vidic believes that Wednesday's visit to Upton Park will provide his team with another physical battle.

"Stoke is always a difficult place to go to but we fought for every ball, played some good football and, in the end, I think we deserved to win," he told MUTV.

"It was physical. You know they're going to get the ball to the forwards, they're good at set-pieces, they're going to challenge defenders.

"Now it's West Ham and we have to play well again. They play in a similar style to Stoke. We're going to have long balls and set-pieces to deal with."

United have won on their last four trips to West Ham.
