United 'receive boost' as Rabiot suspended by PSG

Manchester United will reportedly push ahead with a move for Adrien Rabiot following the midfielder's suspension by Paris Saint-Germain.

The France international is believed to have been banned for 27 days for going on a night out after PSG's shock Champions League exit to Man United last week.

Rabiot is also said to have liked a video posted by ex-Red Devils defender Patrice Evra celebrating in the stands.

The 23-year-old's end-of-season exit now seems a certainty as he has refused to sign a new contract, and a report carried by Manchester Evening News suggests that United are looking to jump ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal at the front of the queue to sign him.

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has not used Rabiot, also a target for Tottenham Hotspur, since December, and he was not part of the club's mid-season training camp in Qatar.
