Manchester United's Morgan Schneiderlin: 'I don't seek the spotlight'

Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin insists that he is not the type of player who chases the spotlight.

Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has insisted that he is a "team player" and does not crave the spotlight.

The Frenchman, who joined the Premier League giants from Southampton for a £25m fee in the summer transfer window, rarely makes the headlines.

"I'm a team player," Schneiderlin told Inside United. "I don't play for chasing praise from anyone.

"Of course, you have to play as well as you can but I don't play to have a good rating in the newspaper or anything like that. I just play to win games and give my team the best possibilities."

United are currently fourth in the league table.
