Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers believes that his side can cause an upset and beat Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers has claimed that his side can cause an upset against Manchester United this weekend.

The Welsh team, who are unbeaten at home this season, welcome the Premier League champions to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

"Our approach will not fundamentally change," Rodgers said. "We want to dominate the game with the ball, and the statistics show that we have been able to do that this season.

"Obviously you have to retain the caution of knowing that players at this level have a higher quality, especially against one of the top European sides with a number of players that can hurt you.

"It's a fantastic game for us, in the big games we are the underdog but we arrive in the game with confidence and belief that if we play to our maximum we can get a result."

The Swans go into the game in tenth place in the Premier League table, while United are currently second.
