Report: Louis van Gaal to make five changes

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will reportedly make five alterations to his team for the upcoming clash against West Bromwich Albion.

Louis van Gaal has reportedly decided to make five changes to his Manchester United starting lineup for Saturday's home encounter against West Bromwich Albion.

The Dutchman was openly critical of his side following their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Everton last Sunday.

He will react to that display at Goodison Park by recalling Angel di Maria and Robin van Persie, who is fit again after an ankle injury, according to The Mirror.

That duo are expected to replace Juan Mata and injured captain Wayne Rooney, while Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and Marcos Rojo are also in line for spots in Van Gaal's team.

Antonio Valencia, Daley Blind and Paddy McNair will drop out as a result.
