Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford says that he 'always wants to improve' after adding to his goal tally for the season against Leicester City.

Marcus Rashford has said that he 'always wants to improve', with the Manchester United attacker determined to take his game to a new level.

The England international is enjoying an impressive campaign for the Red Devils, scoring 24 goals and registering eight assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.

Rashford scored twice in Man United's 3-0 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday, with the 25-year-old now on 14 Premier League goals for the campaign.

The forward has said that the Red Devils will 'continue fighting', with the team still competing in four competitions this season.

Sunday's success over Leicester left Erik ten Hag's side in third spot in the table, now just five points behind division leaders Arsenal, who have a game in hand.

Man United will welcome Barcelona to Old Trafford for the second leg of their Europa League knockout round playoff next Thursday before taking on Newcastle United in the EFL Cup final.

The Red Devils will then switch their attention to the FA Cup, with West Ham United waiting in the fifth round of the competition, before returning to league action at Liverpool on March 5.

"Overall a good day. They created good opportunities and David made a great save at the end of the first half, without that we can't go on to win the game," Rashford told Sky Sports News after the three-goal victory over Brendan Rodgers's side at Old Trafford.

"It's still early in the season, we're fighting for a lot of different things and we have another big game in the week to hopefully go through to the next round of the Europa League and then a massive game for us [against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final].

"There's always something to push and look forward to. I don't feel like slowing down. I'm always looking to push and improve."

Rashford also said that his side just need to 'focus on themselves' when asked about a possible challenge for the Premier League title this season.

"We're close but both teams in front of us are good teams and playing good football. We have to just focus on ourselves, do as well as we can and keep picking up points," the forward added.

Rashford, who only has a contract at Old Trafford until next summer, has now scored 117 goals and registered 65 assists in 339 appearances for the Red Devils since making his first-team debut in 2015.
