Andreas Pereira hits out at "arrogant" Liverpool duo James Milner, Virgil van Dijk

Andreas Pereira names James Milner and Virgil van Dijk as the the most arrogant opponents that he has faced during his time at Manchester United.

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has labelled Liverpool pair James Milner and Virgil van Dijk "arrogant".

Milner and Van Dijk have played a key part in the Reds' Premier League and Champions League triumphs over the past 13 months.

However, in the same week that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard accused Liverpool's backroom staff of being "too arrogant", Pereira has hit out at two members of the champions' squad.

"I don't really like that guy, Milner," he told the Desimpedidos YouTube channel when asked about the most 'cocky' opponents that he has faced.

"And to tell you the truth, I don't like that guy, the defender, Van Dijk. He is Marrento (cocky), man. Even the way he plays is kind of arrogant."

Pereira, who revealed in the same interview that compatriots David Luiz and Willian are his favourite opponents to face, has made 36 appearances for United this term.
