Park Ji-Sung: 'Fans expect too much'

Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung has admitted that the club's past success has created unrealistic expectations for the current side.

However, the 30-year-old South Korean also stated that he is confident the Red Devils can secure the Premier League title this season.

"It might be that before we scored a lot of goals and that has a big impact on the fans. Their expectations become too high," Park told The Mirror.

"Maybe also because we are out of the Champions League and the FA Cup, people think Manchester United is no good.

"But we can show our strength on the pitch. We are still producing good performances, we are level with Manchester City and can still win the title."

Park could feature when United travel to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
