Nani thanks Manchester United supporters

Portuguese winger Nani has thanked Manchester United's supporters after they voted him the club's Player of the Month for September.

The 24-year-old scored two goals as he helped the current champions maintain their grip on top spot in the Premier League.

"Thanks to all the Manchester United supporters for choosing me Player of the Month," the former Sporting Lisbon midfielder wrote on his Twitter account. "It's an honour for me and I'll always do my best."

Nani joined United in 2007 for a reported £17m fee.
