David Moyes: 'Robin van Persie could return against West Bromwich Albion'

Manchester United manager David Moyes reveals that striker Robin van Persie could return from injury against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed that striker Robin van Persie is in contention for a return from injury against West Bromwich Albion.

Van Persie has missed United's last two matches with a groin injury, but after the Dutch international returned to training, Moyes hinted that the 30-year-old could feature against the Baggies.

The 50-year-old told reporters: "Robin will be back involved somewhere. I'm not sure whether we will use him on Saturday or not, but he has trained today and we'll see where he is tomorrow."

The former Arsenal player has scored four times in five appearances this season.
