David Moyes pleased with Manchester United display

David Moyes admits it was "more like it" after seeing his Manchester United side beat West Bromwich Albion 3-0.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has said that it was pleasing to see his side reach somewhere close to their best in the victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Goals from Phil Jones, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck handed United a 3-0 triumph at The Hawthorns.

"It was more like it," Moyes told reporters. "We were more creative and played well.

"It's never the easiest of places to come and we had lost to them earlier in the season so it was good to get a good result.

"We earned the right to be in front. When we did we sort of controlled chunks of the game. They were a threat and we were always going to have to defend."

United climbed to sixth in the table with the win.
