David Moyes hopeful Nemanja Vidic will be "fine" after concussion

Moyes hopeful over Vidic fitness

Manchester United manager David Moyes has calmed concerns over the fitness of defender Nemanja Vidic.

The 32-year-old suffered a blow to the head during United's 1-0 win over Arsenal a fortnight ago, resulting in the centre-back being taken off the field.

"Concussion is something which you do need to rest," Moyes said in a press conference. "He's had his rest and we'll bring him back and hopefully he'll be fine. It's not a serious injury."

United will go up against Cardiff City in South Wales on Sunday.
