Memphis Depay: 'I'm no Cristiano Ronaldo'

Man United new boy Memphis Depay refuses to fuel comparisons between him and Cristiano Ronaldo, but believes that he can wow the fans nonetheless.

Memphis Depay has vowed to "excite" Manchester United fans but insisted that comparisons with Cristiano Ronaldo may be wide of the mark.

The Dutch winger, 21, was unveiled by the Red Devils today following his £25m switch from PSV Eindhoven last month.

Having netted 25 goals from a wide role last term, he has previously been compared with the Real Madrid superstar, who scored 118 times during his spell at Old Trafford.

"I don't want to say I can be like somebody as that, but I think I can excite the fans," he told reporters at his unveiling.

Depay signed a four-year deal with the English giants.
