Juan Mata keen to score more goals for Manchester United

Juan Mata says that he wants to improve his goalscoring form for Manchester United this season.

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has said that he is keen to score more goals for the club.

The Spaniard arrived at Old Trafford for a club-record fee of £37.1m in January, and he is confident of maintaining his good form for the Reds this season.

"At times during last season there were hard moments for everyone but I always tried to do what I do which is to score goals and set my teammates up," he told the club's official website.

"I scored six goals last year and I am looking forward to hopefully do it again and again this season."

Mata has scored 10 goals in 34 appearances for the Spanish national side.
