Juan Mata 'happy' with life at Manchester United

Midfielder Juan Mata has said that he is happy at Manchester United and feels important to the team.

The Spanish playmaker joined the club from Chelsea in January 2014 for a then club-record fee of £37.1m.

Mata struggled for games towards the end of his Chelsea days, but insists that life is much better in Manchester.

He told Onda Cero: "I feel important in the team here, I am playing a lot and I have a lot of confidence."

Mata has started in all three of United's games this season.
