Borussia Dortmund's Jurgen Klopp: 'No offer from Manchester United'

Klopp: 'No offer from Man Utd'

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has reiterated that he wants to stay with the Bundesliga club after revealing that he has not received any offers from Manchester United.

The 46-year-old was touted as a possible contender for the role at Old Trafford following David Moyes's departure on Tuesday.

The German coach swiftly ruled himself out of the running for the position and has insisted once again that he is happy at Dortmund.

"To react to all of this is a bit uncomfortable because there hasn't been an offer, so to reject it before an offer comes, is personally embarrassing for me," Klopp told reporters in a news conference.

"I think Manchester United is a great club, but I am still really happy here. There are around 1,000 reasons why I like working at this club."

Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal, who is leaving the Dutch FA after this summer's World Cup, has become the bookmakers' favourite to land the job.
