Club legend Roy Keane says that midfielder Paul Pogba needs to find some consistency in order to keep his place in the Manchester United starting lineup.

Club legend Roy Keane has said that he has concerns over the mentality of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Despite the Premier League giants paying a club-record fee to acquire his services, Pogba has often been criticised for below-par performances.

Speaking before United were held to a 1-1 draw by Arsenal in the Premier League, Keane admits that he has sympathy for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has continued to back the World Cup winner by including him in his starting lineup.

Keane told Sky Sports News: "His mentality's got to be right. I think it's always a worry for a manager. Imagine working with a player where you're going into a game thinking, 'What are we gonna get tonight?'

"That's no good for you if he's your best player. You want it almost guaranteed he's gonna give you eight out of ten every week. The big question mark over Paul is he doesn't do that enough. He's not consistent enough since he's gone to United."

Pogba is yet to score in six starts for United in all competitions this season.
