Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho confirms that he will look to rotate his squad during the packed festive period.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that he will look to rotate his squad during the festive period.

The Red Devils take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this evening in the first of five matches within the space of 19 days.

United will also take on West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and West Ham United in that time, and Mourinho revealed that he will look to keep players fresh by rotating them during the packed schedule.

When asked whether he planned to rotate, Mourinho told MUTV: "A bit. I think to rotate the whole structure is a big risk and makes no sense.

"Even with other options, there is always a spine and structure that you cannot change unless you have to. But I will rotate a bit. Some pieces of the puzzle, you have to do it."

United are currently sixth in the Premier League table, six points off the top four.
