James Wilson hails David de Gea

James Wilson reveals that it is tough to score against goalkeeper David de Gea during Manchester United's training sessions.

Young Manchester United striker James Wilson has admitted that he finds it difficult to score against David de Gea in training.

Spanish goalkeeper De Gea endured a difficult start to his Old Trafford career following his arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2011.

However, over the last three seasons the 24-year-old's level of improvement has resulted in the growing opinion that he is now one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.

Speaking about his teammate's form so far this campaign, Wilson revealed that De Gea does not let his standards slip, even in training.

"In training, you can have a shot and think it's going in, then he pulls off the save. He's such a good shot stopper," Wilson told the club's official website.

"If he saves it, you have to just take your hat off to him and then do what you can to score past him when the next chance comes along. But you know it's never going to be easy because he's such a good goalkeeper."

De Gea has kept three clean sheets from his 11 Premier League outings this term.
