Ander Herrera happy with development at Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera reveals that he is happy with how he has developed at the club this season.

Ander Herrera has revealed that he is pleased with how he has developed during his first season at Manchester United.

The Spanish midfielder scored his eighth goal of the campaign on Sunday as the Red Devils drew 1-1 with Arsenal in the Premier League.

Herrera now hopes to push on next season and bring silverware back to Old Trafford under manager Louis van Gaal.

"I am happy with my development," the 25-year-old is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "I have to keep improving. My first season at a big club and I have played lots games and scored goals. I want to be as good as possible.

"I knew it wasn't going to be easy. When you arrive at a massive club it is not easy but I am happy and looking forward to next season. I want to be a champion here."

United finish their Premier League campaign on May 24 when they travel to relegation-threatened Hull City.
