Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson hopes that Wayne Rooney's brace against Wolverhampton Wanderers will set him on a goalscoring run.
The striker, who hadn't scored in eight Premier League matches, bagged two goals along with Nani's double to give United a 4-1 win at Old Trafford.
"Sometimes strikers do go in spurts," Ferguson told Sky Sports News. "Hopefully that is now Wayne on one of those really good spurts of his."
The win has put the Red Devils two points behind league leaders Manchester City.
