Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was rueful of the two points that his side dropped at Chelsea, despite coming back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3.

Two Wayne Rooney penalties and a Javier Hernandez header salvaged a point for the champions on a dramatic afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

"I see it as two points dropped, we played so well especially as we got off to a terrible start," said Ferguson. "It's not easy to come back like that from three goals down but we are a far better team than what you saw today.

"It's a massive effort from our players, Chelsea played a great part in it and it was fantastic for the neutral. We had a bit of bad luck with the goals but the players didn't let it affect them."

United are now two points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City.
