Sir Alex Ferguson claims that the Da Silva twins remind him of Bryan Robson.

Sir Alex Ferguson has said that Rafael and Fabio da Silva remind him of former Manchester United great Bryan Robson.

The Brazilian twins have suffered a string of injuries each since signing at Old Trafford in 2008. However – like Robson – both remain fearless on the football pitch, according to the Scot.

"They are both terrific talents but they do keep getting injuries," he said. "They are both sturdy, strong boys, but possibly it's because of the way they play. Robson was that way.

"They don't see the danger. But they are only 21. They are both excellent talents, really positive players. That is what I love about them. They don't have an inkling of fear about how they play."

Rafael and Fabio have made 59 league appearances between them for Manchester United following their arrival from Fluminense.
