Fellaini praised for 'first-class attitude'

Manchester United Under-21s boss Warren Joyce has praised Marouane Fellaini for his 'first-class attitude' during a reserves match.

The Belgium international, who has struggled to hold down a first-team spot under Louis van Gaal, scored one and made two assists in the U21s' 3-2 win over Liverpool on Monday night.

"I thought his attitude was first class," Joyce told MUTV. "I obviously know him from being around the [training ground] and having discussions with him.

"I met him actually in Belgium a long time ago when he was at Standard Liege and I was with Royal Antwerp. So I've known him a long time really and watched his progress."

Fellaini joined United from Everton in 2013.
