Manchester United starlet Facundo Pellistri could supposedly be handed his debut for the senior team in the not-so-distant future.
The 18-year-old has been restricted to appearances for the development squad since arriving from Penarol in the summer, although he has impressed in the Premier League 2 for the Red Devils.
The Uruguayan teenager banked his second goal in as many matches for the Under-23s team in a 2-2 draw with Manchester City's youth team at the weekend, with Pellistri also netting against Southampton B the week before.
Now, The Mirror speculates that it could not be too long before Pellistri is given a chance at the top level, with the youngster giving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer food for thought with regards to selection.
Pellistri penned a five-year deal at Old Trafford upon his arrival, and the teenager also bagged a goal in the EFL Trophy defeat to Accrington Stanley last week.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are believed to be interested in a deal for Inter Milan's Christian Eriksen, but the playmaker would allegedly prefer a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
