De Gea 'steals doughnut from Tesco'

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has stolen a £1.19 doughnut from Tesco, according to The Sun.

The 20-year-old Spaniard allegedly ate the doughnut on his way around the supermarket in Altrincham, Greater Manchester and then didn't pay for it.

Last night a Tesco spokesman said: "A customer was spoken to by our security team and the issue was resolved."

De Gea will be expected to line up between the sticks when United host Norwich in the Premier League on Saturday.
