Former Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt has named Angel Gomes and Mason Greenwood as the two youngsters most likely to break into the club's first team this season.
The 44-year-old has a detailed knowledge of the players from his current role as head of first-team development and his previous post as head of the academy.
In a feature for Super 6 filmed with his Class of '92 teammates, Butt said: "I think Gomes could set alight this season and do really well, he's matured and got a lot stronger.
"Purely for the excitement and the fans I think Greenwood is going to be a real, real superstar if he keeps his feet on the ground, he's patient and he scores the goals that he can."
Both players featured heavily in pre-season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, scoring their first senior goals for United, while Greenwood came off the bench in the 4-0 win over Chelsea last weekend.
