Henning Berg: 'Manchester United won't sack David Moyes'

Henning Berg is "100% sure" that Manchester United will not sack David Moyes after they fell 12 points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Former Manchester United defender Henning Berg is adamant that David Moyes will keep his place in the Old Trafford hotseat.

The Red Devils' chances of retaining the Premier League title have been dampened after they fell 12 points behind leaders Arsenal following last night's 1-0 defeat to Everton.

When asked on talkSPORT if the club will stand by Moyes, Berg said: "Yes they will do. They said that when he started.

"I'm 100% sure they will keep him as manager, they have a policy. They will keep him even if they finish eighth or ninth this season and will look to build for next year."

Moyes took over from Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer following the 71-year-old's decision to retire after 27 years in charge at the club.
