Christian Benteke up for April PFA Fans' Player of the Month award

Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has been nominated for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for April.

The 24-year-old has endured a frustrating season at Villa Park, but six goals in four games, including a hat-trick against Queens Park Rangers, have seen him selected alongside five other players.

Winger Eden Hazard has helped to strengthen Chelsea's position at the top of the Premier League table, while midfield duo Ander Herrera and Mesut Ozil have played their part in improved runs for Manchester United and Arsenal respectively.

Leicester City veteran Esteban Cambiasso has been nominated after the Foxes registered three successive triumphs, with Yannick Bolasie completing the list after impressing for Crystal Palace.
