Demba Ba has accepted a bet that he will score against Manchester City with a Manchester United fan on Twitter.

Newcastle United striker Demba Ba has accepted a bet with a Manchester United fan on social networking site Twitter.

The Magpies host Manchester City this Sunday with the Citizens leading the Premier League title race on goal difference.

Posting on Twitter, a Red Devils fan tweeted the Senegal striker: "you score the winner against city and I'll get you on the back off my manchester united top # dealornodeal # BA19"

Ba then replied: "Deal."

Newcastle are currently fifth in the Premier League.
