Arsenal, Manchester United fans protest over inflated ticket prices

Arsenal and Manchester United fans staged a protest over the rising cost of football tickets ahead of this afternoon's Premier League meeting at the Emirates Stadium.

Supporters of Arsenal and Manchester United joined up prior to this afternoon's league clash to protest over the rising cost of matchday tickets.

A banner was unfurled containing the message "£5bn and what we do we get? £64 a ticket", in reference to the Premier League's latest TV rights deal.

Certain Red Devils fans were set back £64 for their entrance fee at the Emirates Stadium, which is thought to be the highest cost of any ground in English football.

This weekend saw supporters up and down the land back the Football Supporters' Federation's 'Twenty's Plenty' campaign, which calls for tickets to be capped at £20 for away fans.
