Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is handed his first call-up to the Brazil national team.

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has been called up to the Brazil squad for the first time in his career.

The 22-year-old has been named in his country's squad for their upcoming international friendlies against the United States of America and El Salvador.

Pereira, who started Man United's first Premier League game of the season against Leicester City last week, is in the squad with new signing Fred, who also started the 2-1 win.

No Manchester City players have been named in Tite's 24-man squad, with Gabriel Jesus, Fernandinho, Danilo and Ederson all absent.

Brazil, who were knocked out at the quarter-final stage of the World Cup, face El Salvador first on September 11 outside Washington before a clash with the USA in New Jersey four days later.
