Thursday's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup: Jadon Sancho, Gareth Bale, Sergio Reguilon

Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Manchester United on Thursday, September 17.

The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Manchester United eye possible reinforcements.

The Red Devils brought in Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo in the final days of the winter window but are still expected to be active in the summer as they aim to restore their former glories.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.

Thursday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'tells Jadon Sancho Manchester United move is still on'

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has allegedly spoken to Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho regarding a potential transfer.

While United are known admirers of the England international, the Premier League giants do not intend on splashing out £108m on the player this summer.

With three years remaining on Sancho's contract, that leaves Dortmund in a strong position as they bid to keep hold of one of their key men.

However, according to Dagbladet, Solskjaer has reassured the 20-year-old that United still plan to hold discussions with the Bundesliga side.

Although United are said to be willing to wait until the closing days of the transfer window, Dortmund are in no rush to lower their demands.

Manager Lucien Favre has recently indicated that Sancho will remain at the Westfalenstadion.

Manchester United 'exploring Amad Traore move'

Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a move for Atalanta BC attacker Amad Traore.

The 18-year-old made his Serie A debut last October and ended the 2019-20 campaign with one goal in three league appearances for the Italian giants.

Traore has recently been linked with a loan move to Parma, but according to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils have contacted Atalanta to discuss the possibility of a deal.

The report claims that the teenager is not seen as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, but United could look to secure his signature during this summer's transfer window.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will allegedly not be allowed to sign Traore on the cheap, though, with Atalanta having high hopes for the right-sided attacker.

The youngster scored on his first Serie A outing against Udinese last season.
