Team News: Zeki Fryers makes Man United debut

Centre-back Zeki Fryers will make his first ever appearance for Manchester United tonight against Leeds United.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has handed a debut to Zeki Fryers for tonight's Carling Cup tie at Leeds United.

The 18-year-old centre-back will be partnered by Michael Carrick in defence, while Michael Owen and Dimitar Berbatov start in attack.

For hosts Leeds, Jonny Howson will form part of a three-man midfield, while Andy Keogh will support Luciano Becchio up front.

Leeds: Lonergan; Lees, O'Dea, Bromby, White; Snodgrass, Clayton, Howson; Keogh, McCormack, Becchio

Man United: Amos; Valencia, Fryers, Carrick, Fabio; Giggs, Park, Macheda, Diouf; Owen, Berbatov
