Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Man United injury, suspension list vs. Brighton

Manchester United face Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium for the second time in five days when the two sides renew acquaintances in the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.

The events at the end of their Premier League meeting Saturday will still be sinking in after United rescued a last-gasp 3-2 win after the final whistle had gone, with VAR awarding them a dramatic and controversial penalty which was dispatched in the 100th minute.

A place in the fifth round of the EFL Cup is the prize on offer this time around, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will know that his side may not get away with another one unless they improve from the weekend's display.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the Red Devils' latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Axel Tuanzebe

Axel Tuanzebe is now back training outside at Carrington following a foot injury, but he will not return until after the international break.

Phil Jones has not featured for United since January and that will not change on Wednesday night, with the defender still battling a long-standing knee injury.
