Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera upbeat over fractured rib

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has insisted that he is feeling upbeat after suffering a fractured rib.

The Spaniard, who is expected to be out of action for the "next few weeks", suffered the injury on Saturday during his team's win over West Ham United.

Despite being faced with a spell on the sidelines, Herrera is hopeful of returning sooner rather than later.

United return to Premier League action this Sunday when they host Everton.
